THE PRODUCT LINE

The Safe Infrastructure Solutions Product Line is a newly formed Product Line within the MTS Segment in SAM. SIS includes products such as Intelligent Intersection, Wrong Way Driver, and Autonomous Valet Parking Type 2. We also expect to create and develop new products related to infrastructure in the future. The products are often jointly developed with partner companies external to Continental. Our Product Line is working both in the Automotive and Non-Automotive fields, which bring new and exciting opportunities for business and personal growth.


THE POSITION

  • The position is responsible for the successful execution of project development leading to the launch of the various Safe Infrastructure Solutions products. Responsibilities also include post-launch support of the product.
  • Responsibilities include resource planning, timing, and project budgeting. The position will be the primary point of contact for the customer, partner companies, and the internal technical teams for the various projects.
  • This position also will include travel to partner companies and potential and current customers in Korea and potentially other areas in Asia.
  • The position will work with a cross-functional international team of engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales, finance, and purchasing to ensure project goals are met.
  • The position requires a person willing to find the best path to achieve the overall goals for the business. Since this is a new Product Line working on bringing new types of products to the market, there are new and interesting topics that the complete team needs to work together to find solutions. In effect, working in SIS is like working in a start-up company.

Your profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field
  • Minimum 2 years automotive experience in engineering or customer project teams
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer interface position
  • Strong Passion to Win mentality
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Highly motivated
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including business level English skills
  • High familiarity with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Manufacturing exposure
  • Intercultural experience or experience with international project teams
  • Business development mindset
  • Working experience as an engineer
