Simi is the leading innovator for motion capture software and complete systems for the detection and analysis of human motion. As a medium-sized company with a family tradition and branches in Los Angeles and Shanghai, Simi became part of ZF Group in May 2019. On this strategic base we are planning expansion and further development of our Sports, Medicine and Automotive markets.

For our Sports/Medicine business unit, we are currently looking for an experienced Machine Learning Developer.

Tasks

• You will join our AI team
• Development of algorithms (i.e. deep neural nets) for image-based detection of features as joint positions, segmentation as well as action recognition etc.
• Training and optimization of neural nets for sports applications
• Operation and monitoring of trained models (MLOps)
• Improving the software infrastructure for training neural networks

Requirements

• University degree in computer science or similar, at least two years of professional experience in the Machine Learning field
• Profound knowledge in the field of machine learning, computer vision, and image processing
• Profound programming skills in Python, preferably including TensorFlow/PyTorch, OpenCV, Scikit-Image
• Experience in the field of human pose estimation and action recognition is desired
• Experience in optimizing speed performance of neural networks is preferred
• Experiences with MlOps is preferred
