Job Title: Scheduler For Construction Projects
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Scheduler to join our construction project team. As the Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful planning and execution of the project by developing and maintaining comprehensive schedules. Your expertise will be essential in managing the project's timeline, identifying critical paths, and coordinating activities to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
Prepare and update project schedules, integrating various tasks, activities, and resources, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals, objectives, and constraints, and incorporate them into the schedule.
Identify critical paths, potential bottlenecks, and areas of concern in the schedule, and propose solutions to mitigate risks and ensure timely completion of the project.
Conduct regular schedule reviews and analysis to assess progress, anticipate delays, and recommend adjustments as necessary.
Monitor resource allocation and utilization to optimize efficiency and identify potential conflicts or constraints.
Generate reports and presentations to communicate schedule status, progress, and forecasts to project teams, management, and clients.
Participate in project meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on schedule analysis and expertise.
Maintain documentation and records of schedule changes, updates, and approvals.
Qualifications:
- Proven at least 3 projects Previous experience in preparing and maintaining schedules for construction projects. (Certificates are Required)
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (Primavera P6 training certificate from an authorized Primavera trainer is required).
- Proven work experience with US Army Corps of Engineers projects or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify schedule-related issues and propose effective solutions.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present schedule information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
